It's just about 9:00 AM and Carly has been at it for ten hours now. At 11:05 PM last night, not more that fifteen minutes after Carly went to bed, it was time to gather all our gear and to start making our way over to the hospital. Less than an hour later, at 11:55 PM, she was admitted as a patient and we were told that Noah was on his way.
After the long, sleepless night, of which many more await I'm certain, Carly has found rest now that the epidural is in place. It has been tough to watch her work through the contractions so I am glad that the epidural is allowing her to close her eyes and attempt to sleep. The doctors say that she is making some great progress but as of now we are still playing the waiting game.
More later.
